Ravindra Jadeja, also known as Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja, plays cricket for India at the international level. He is a great all-arounder who hits with his left hand and bowls direct spin with his left arm. In the Indian Premier League, he became the captain of the Chennai Super Kings. In first-class cricket, he plays for Saurashtra.

Early Career
At the age of 16, Jadeja made his debut for India’s Under-19 team in 2005. He was chosen for the Indian team to play in the U-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka in 2006. With a three-wicket performance against Pakistan in the championship match, India came in second. He became the deputy captain of India’s winning U-19 cricket team in 2008. With the bat, he was important in the competition, collecting 10 wickets in six games for an average of 13.
He made his first-class debut playing for West Zone in the 2006-07 Duleep Trophy. Then, in the same year, he started playing for Saurashtra in Ranji Trophy.
Ravindra Jadeja International Career
National selectors attracted the notice of Jadeja after his outstanding performance in the 2008–09 Ranji Trophy. He has been selected for the ODI series in Sri Lanka.
