Career
Political Career
His political career was from the executive of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. In 1986 made the District President, in 1992, the President of Rajasthan, and in 1997, he was made the President of the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha at the national level.
In 2003, he won the election from Rajasthan’s assembly seat Kota, later in 2004, he was made the minister of the Ministry of State Parliamentary Affairs in the Government of Rajasthan.
Om Birla also won the assembly elections in 2008 and 2013.
After that, he contested and won the 16th Lok Sabha elections in 2014. In the 17th Lok Sabha Elections 2019, he won the election from Kota Lok Sabha seat for the second time and was made the speaker in the Lok Sabha.[1]
