Who is IAS Usha Sharma?
Usha Sharma joined the Rajasthan cadre of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) in 1985. She is the second woman secretary of Rajasthan before Kushal Singh became the first woman chief secretary of Rajasthan. Usha Sharma was born on 26 June 1963. Usha Sharma assumed the post of Chief Secretary in Rajasthan on 31 January 2022, before that, she was in Delhi on the post of Archology Survey of India(ASI).
Her tenure was till June 2023, but on the recommendation of the Rajasthan government, the central government has extended his tenure till 31 December 2023.
Usha Sharma joined her cadre in Rajasthan in 1985, after which she held other important posts in Rajasthan. She has also been the collector of the Bundi and Ajmer districts.
