Divya is the daughter of Mahipal Maderna, a prominent member of the Indian National Congress, who held the post of Water Resources Minister in Rajasthan. Tragically, Mahipal Maderna passed away at his residence in Jodhpur on 17 October 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

राजनीतिक कैरियर, Political Career & Journey:
At the age of 26, Divya joined the Indian National Congress (INC) as a member. In 2010, he made a successful entry into politics by contesting and winning the District Panchayat elections from Osian in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. Continuing her political journey, Divya contested the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election from Osian constituency in December 2018, and won by defeating BJP candidate Bhera Ram Chaudhary by a huge margin of 27,590 votes.
Divya Maderna remains in the news a lot and often tries to corner the leaders of her own party. She remains in the headlines because of her sharp statements. During the Bhopal Co-operative Elections in April 2023, someone attacked her on the way, due to which Divya had sought security from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
