Education Qualification
He completed his elementary education in Delhi. He completed his graduation from IIT Delhi in B.Tech Civil Engineering. During his graduation days, he got selected by IIT Delhi in an exchange student program for INSA Lyon University in France. He went to France in 2002. In 2004 he went to enrolled in completion of MBA in Finance program at IIM Ahmedabad.
He got Placement in Kotak Investment Banking, Mumbai as a Vice president by IIM Ahmedabad. He then worked in various companies such as Grofers, PC Jewellers Ltd., and American Express. In 2018, Ashneer Grover, along with Shashvat Nakrani and Bhavik Koladiya, launched the BharatPe app which has 1.1crore+ downloads on Play Store. BharatPe app is the one of most used payment application.
Career
He has worked in many Reputed & big companies before starting his own business. He was good in understand the field of corporate sector. He got his first job in Kotak Investment Banking, Mumbai as a Vice president he worked seven year after he left the job.
In the year 2013 he got a chance to work with American Express he was appointed as the Director of Corporate Development and after some time he left the job and started working in Grofers. In the year 2017 he started working with PC jewellers as the head of the new business but could not work there for long. After getting knowledge and experience he want to start his own business so he started working on Bharat Pe Project.
BharatPe was founded in the year 2017 by Bhavik Koladia and Shashwat Nakrani. In the year 2018, Ashneer Grover was the third founder of the company. Share are divided among them as Ashneer grover 32%, Bhavik Koladia 42.5%, Shashwat Nakrani 25%. The founder had resigned from the company. The fintech company filed a criminal lawsuit against Ashneer Grover and his family seeking ₹ 88.67 crore in damages, in December 2022. Bhavik Koladiya, who exited BharatPe in August last year, has filed a case against the fintech he founded and Shark Tank India fame Ashneer Grover over share dispute.
Both Husband and Wife were Terminated from their services due to financial irregularities. This is not only for the Bharat Pe issue, also Ashneer behaviour is not so well he always behave rudely. Ashneer denied many controversies. There were reports that confirms that Ashneer grover had approached legal aid in the form of Karanjawala & Co from Delhi NCR. To secure his position and his shareholding of 9.5% intact.
